Thanks for posting article Anni, Hopefully good news keeps continuing.
One thought is when Chipman left the ATF likely there was good reason for it?
For him to go back and lead it should have left when and why when he originally did?
Conflict of interest in his history come to mind? He's obviously not a good choice just by that.

Also read a moment ago where McConnell was among 17 Repubs (rinos) that voted along with all dems for the infrastructure bill. McConnell is probably on his last (recently reelected) term before retiring, so he's no longer cares who he ticks-off, even if it's thise who have usually supported/voted for him.

Nominating Chipman could easily be construed as a total disregard for obvious facts for almost anyone in a normal frame of mind who has kept up with his past history? Way too much troubling past. Am thinking most people understand / believe that.

Something else overlooked? With his less than satisfactory, overly biased history and with his nomination, something else may have been conjured up to try and sneak something else in "the back door" by others plotting and scheming against our 2nd Amendment and firearms owners rights? Duh? Maybe just the time to bolt that back door and secure the valuables? Am semi sarcastic and slightly kidding, but don't and wouldn't trust him for much of anything except more trouble and headaches for everyone....and not for just gun owners. He comes across as possibly unhinged?

He also doesn't appear, sound or act to be good leadership material by any means from his known past. Wouldn't want him as a neighbor either. Then his troubles become ours? Likely worse than that crazy nosy Alice Kravitz character from TV show Bewitched and good old J. Edgar combined? Just more headaches for everyone?
