Long wait in Vermont for a M1a standard

I have had a Springfield M1A standard on order with a prominent gun shop here in Williston Vermont for about 3 weeks now. They tell me they don’t know when they might see one. Is this normal for getting a rifle from Springfield armory?

Trucks, to beverages to guns.
Manufacturers don’ have the ability to get components consistently .
Thus an unknown delay.
-Gatorade cannot produce full capacity due to lack of some ingredients
-Beer cannot produce full due to shortage of cans

Same for Springfield.

You get the idea

Agreed on shortages... making me thinking to start reloading to feed my M1A.

To the OP... does not hurt to shop around. We have a couple on the shelf here in TN. You could ship em home. Always best to handle before buying, in my opinion. BUT, you'd have one. Best of luck.

Little things are starting to make me wonder. Two weeks in a row my wife has gone to a grocery store, different stores, and both times they were out of 1% milk, and corned beef. Perhaps coincidences...

nope, shortages of some of the most common grocery items for us too.

too many workers are just not going back to work, cuz the gov'ment hand out is making them make more money sitting at home on their asses, then going to work.
