Springfield Xd-E series discontinued?

I have one and like it. Guess it wasn't a great seller. Hope for a mod 2 with hellcat mags someday...

The XD-E series never appealed to me, and I never owned or fired one. There were several forum members who spoke highly of their XD-E pistols. I was disappointed when Springfield discontinued the Mod.2 models and I'm sure there will be many XD-E owners who feel the same way.

I have one and really like it. Sorry they are discontinuing, but that just makes mine unique and rare.

I wanted one. I was not happy with my first gen XD9. It may not have been the guns fault, it was my first experience with striker fired platform. I heard rumors of hammer fired, but could never find one in any LGS. Now, I read this unicorn is extinct. What a bummer.

Interesting to hear. I have a first gen XD9 sub compact that I'll likely never part with. Aside from the paint on the sights wearing off (it's been almost 20 years) I've had no issues with it. Been extremely accurate and reliable.

Saw an XD-E at the store yesterday and my wife was interested, but she's making me take a break. Maybe if I tell her they're discontinued she'll let me "get her one".

I visited the gun counter at the PX this morning and there were a few SA handguns available, including an XD-E.

If you want a similar system to the XDE, look at HK’s USP line or FN’s FNX.

DA/SA with decocker on the safety (HK V1/V2 models).

Which Botach seems to have almost all the cool HKs in stock. That is if you trust them.

I’m thinking the guns that have been pulled have still been in production so you should still see them show up in stores for awhile.

I predict you’ll be able to find a NIB XDE without much problem for a couple of years, at least.

Exactly. That one and multiple’s of the other discontinued models as well.
