Nice surprise today, my rifle was ready and I didn't know until this morning

The wife and I popped in to EOT, the World Championship of cowboy action shooting this morning at Ben Avery in Phoenix. I ran into a gunsmith who I gave my Lightning rifle to last October to make it slam fire. He said it was done and he had it with him. Hoo-hoo! None of the current manufacturers of these Colt Lightning clones make them to slam fire from the factory, the originals did. Must be some legal thing. Anyway, it is so fun to hold the trigger down and with every pump, the gun fires. I get to try it out this weekend.
