Norma 62 gr. S109 Penetrator

Has anyone used Norma 5.56 ? This seems like green tips without the green. I found some for a good price, but I don't know anything about them. I prefer Lake City M855, but.....

I haven't used any Norma ammo in a long time, but do have Norma brass in a few cartridges. Most 556 ammo I use is win, pmc and lc. Most of what I have left is pmc xm855 (green tip, aka lap). Any where from 12.5" to 24" barrels. I would suspect Norma would be good.

Sorry Bob, never used their M855, but I've fired thousands of Norma 9mm and M193 and never had a single problem.

Norma is good ammo, and their brass is top-notch for reloading.

Never run that particular load, but their .308 FMJ is quite accurate.

Several of the European SS109/M855 equivalents don't have green tips. GG&G is another. Excellent ammo.

Never had a problem with their 9mm, and to further back up Hans... Their .308 150gr FMJ was incredibly accurate out of my M1A Scout Squad.

Well it turns out I got a deal on Lake City M193 at SG Ammo. After I mail in all the rebate stuff it'll end up being a tad over $400/case.

I'm still sitting on a bunch of M855 so....

Not a bad deal! Hard to find brass cased at 40¢ per.

SG Ammo is my favorite on-line ammo retailer. They always have better prices and usually free shipping. The $75 rebate from Winchester is nice too.
