While I can't vote for a single television cartoon, The strip Bloom County was fantastic IMO. Yes, it was more middle-school to college for me...but I loved it.

I'll take Looney Tunes any day. I have the boxed set from the black and white cartoons to just before it became lame diluted TV nonsense. IMO, nothing surpasses the Bugs, Daffy, Elmer hunting trilogy.

I'll take Looney Tunes any day. I have the boxed set from the black and white cartoons to just before it became lame diluted TV nonsense. IMO, nothing surpasses the Bugs, Daffy, Elmer hunting trilogy.

That stuff plays on a local antennae channel here on Saturday and Sunday mornings. It's great.

As a kid I didn't appreciate the WB classics as I do now. Bugs Bunny is the pinnacle of animated humor. Should you disagree, I will be obliged to reply, "You realize, of course, this means war".

My favorite cartoons were the old black and white Popeye episodes (remember the host, Denny Sullivan?). They were pretty violent but we really didn’t know any better.
