I have thought of getting one just to check it out for my Max-9, only about $100.00 last time I checked, but haven’t yet….🤔🤔 My WASP has the same footprint may just put it on the pistol and save a few bucks
 
That just doesn’t make any sense to me. People have a hard enough time getting used to using a normal red dot. What’s the point of a compromised set up like this? Because it’s cheap? You can get an inexpensive red dot that actually works for that price.

Actually the dot on this is way bigger then your ordinary red dot, 15 MOA dot, one thing going for it, no batteries needed…

That 15 MOA dot is a liability for sure.

I'm not sure what the intended use is for this. And as Simon said, you can get an actual optic for not much more.

The battery life thing is a non starter for me. It costs me about $12 to change every red dot battery I own once a year. And no doubt none of them actually need it that often.

I suppose it depends on the target demographic.

Agree. 15moa might as well be a big greasy thumbprint in the middle of your screen. I I’m not even that keen on a 3moa dot. The whole battery thing is a non-issue. In my little kit bag I take with me to the range I have packs of 3 different sizes of batteries for various red dots and rechargeable AAAs for electronic ear muffs (which @KillerFord1977 actually needed the other weekend when his headset tapped out). Did I mention I like to see my dot at night?

A couple range sessions back my Razors were dead. I had just put new batteries in it a couple months ago. I assumed they were done for ( I did only pay like $30 for them). Turns out I must have left them on the trip before. New batteries and it's all good.
 
The 15moa dot is a bit excessive, but for close work, it will work.

The lack of adjustments is a total deal breaker. I had one of the Sig 365SAS with the TruGlo(I think that’s who made them) FO sight units…it was off, and you couldn’t adjust it. Bad design, that.

Believe it or not, the SAS was my first gun. I thought it would be cool. It wasn’t. Still have a P365 in the rotation, just not that one.

I was about to ask that question does it work in total darkness?

Hopefully your vision will continue being good as age creeps up.. I was very hesitant to try dots but had serious trouble finding the front sight clearly. Dots have given me a new lease on my shooting ability.

Yea I am going to be 70 in January eyes luckily is still good now hearing that’s a whole other thing I am deep as they come sorry to say aids help a little
