Apparently I have upset someone by posting two pics of a S&W revolver on a thread that was reserved for only Ruger "Blackhawk" wheel guns . My intention was not to offend or cause any undo stress upon the OP. I will take this opertunity to offer my most sincere apology.

Ah, you can post in any thread, if others don't like it, they can get over it, there are no specific threads for only one type of gun........and I have been here from the beginning.........

Not a Ruger. My S&W M&P R8 .357 mag. Love this pistol. This one is not a safe queen. It is open carried a lot while on my property. Most of the time in a chest holster, and occasionally in a cross-draw holster.

That’s my bedside pistol, with lasergrips, a X300, and an older RMR (tritium model—likely getting replaced soon).

Made me look up that other thread .

It was easy enough to key in on the title of Wheelgun Wednesday. Only a 10% faux pas , just because that thread was pimping a particular exclusive variant of Blackhawk.

Warning ! That puff piece was factually incorrect . While. 380 may or may not adequately go bang in a swing out 9mm Revolver that defacto head space ( damn auto correct) on the moon clip, it wouldn't work with Blackhawk or other SA Revolver .

Are those the origional grips to that gun ? Which dash number ?

I'll have to dig out the SCSW , buy off the top of my head , it would be a narrow window , if at all , to overlap Pinned Bbl and non Diamond Magna .
