What are you doing right now??

getting myself all cleaned and spiffed up for a dental "deep cleaning" appointment for 10 AM

which surprises me, i brush 2 times a day, and floss, and always get compliments on my dental care.
(being a diabetic, i need to take good care of my dental health)

yet, i have some upper and lower teeth that need to be deep cleaned..???

anyway, my benefits are paying for it......

so let the excavation begin....!!!!!!!!!

my hygienist asked if i had one, told her no, as they seem (to me) to spray water all over the place.

in fact, the "deep cleaning" she did today, was pretty much a "water pick", and yup....water...water everywhere......(cue Buzz Lightyear here)

then she scraped the teeth, but they were clean that there really wasn't much scraping to do.

my gums were inflamed she said, making the deep cleaning necessary, by the measurement of the spaces in the gums, she took last month

something else she said too was....

that since this cleaning was approved, and i am a diabetic, they will now pay for 4 cleanings a year.......i said.."let's do that"...!!!

good dental hygiene is important to diabetics she said.

old age, heredity, medications, diabetes, can all be contributing factors to what lead up to the inflamed gums.

but to get a water pick.....would (maybe) be a waste, since i will get 4 cleanings a year now.
 
Cool day with wind so i figured it was a great day to brush the husky. Wrong answer, i have hair everywhere including all over myself. Maggie does not like to be brushed but when i got done with her it looked like i had 2 other dogs! She will not even look at me now, she's pissed!
 
Just returned from the range, not a happy camper. The new Sig Romeo-X enclosed Pro dot crapped out. The windage adjustment does not work at all. Tried to call Sig's customer service they were closed. Sent them an e-mail will followup tomorrow with a phone call. Aimed at the far right edge of the target, still way far left. Shot the SA1911 AOS to check to see if new mount screws ( 6-32X3/8ths) were going to stay tight, they did. Damn, I'm pissed.

Went to Best Buy today purchased new iMac 24". They didn't have what I wanted in stock ordered it supposed to be here tomorrow. Including tax $ 2143.00 plus $322.00 for set-up and data transfer. It's only money, yeah right.
 
Just got back from my insurance agent. My wife's car was hit in the rear end where she works. Person tried to leave but she was in car with it running warming it up when it happened. Guy tried to say she ran into him but she said car has onstar and they will be able to tell if car was moving or not. This happened on Holloman AFB and the lazy cops there wouldn't even fill out a report. Put claim in thru my State Farm agent and his insurance company Geico has already called and said they accept responsibility and will be paying to repair the Equinox. Now I have to find someone to fix it. Thank god it wasn't the Buick!
