What are you doing right now??

My 2 German Shepherds (Brande and Maggie) ( long since passed-terribly missed) used to take Trazadone for the fireworks and thunderstorms. It did work miracles for them. We did have to watch them closely though because they both had seizure disorders and they were both on meds for those issues. Hated to see them walking around like they were drunk but it was better than the alternative.

Our 10 lb Chi had a complete breakdown after we lost older dog, went thru grief, depression therapy with Karen Prior institute for her and after several med tries found Xanax has really helped. She gets the liquid compound in an oral syringe 2x daily for the rest of her life. Also for short term anxiety we use Adaptil Spray, it's the pheramone of doggy nursing mothers. Spray, wait 15 min and they can be around it-blankets-dog clothes, etc. Also Thunder Shirts really help. This is weird sounding but thunder storms bother them because of the static electricity in the air. We put an unscented fabric softener sheet on then and it helps due to reducing static electricity in the air touching them. Strange but true.Hoping for a blessed new year for all.

The fireworks started not long ago. Both dogs are in the house now. Aunt Bee is a little frightened, but the real show won't come until a little later and then will last most of the night. We usually don't let the dogs out in the morning until daylight, because they like to bark at things in the morning and we don't want them disturbing the neighbors. My wife suggested we let them out about 4am tomorrow morning to bark their hearts out! lol

It's just another night for me. I've been up since zero dark thirty, and am well hydrated at this time so I'm just occupying real estate on the couch until my eyes start slamming shut. Happy New Year to y'all!

Right now that is exactly what she is doing. Hope she finds a comfortable spot and just falls asleep

i had to have 3 hammer toes straightened out a few years ago, good thing, it was the left foot, so i could at least drive.

but i had to wear a solid wooden soled boot for a while.

then of course the LOOONG pins in each toe...doctor wrapped up my foot real good, so the ends of those pins would not get "bumped", sending me into outer space with pains.

i hope your numbness is not due to a mashed (herniated) disk or 2..

yeah, been there done that too.

how about carpal tunnel....anyone needing that done too..???

let me tell you about THAT...!!!!!
You've had about as much as I have. My numbness is from a cervical epidural hematoma.
