Just got back from the last walk for today. Maggie and I did 4.5 miles today. Cold this morning but a beautiful day, sunny and in high 50's. She even let me brush her today--she was really hairy! All in all a great day with my buddy. Besides marrying my wife the best thing I ever did was getting this dog.

Was a busy day. Finished laundry, dusting and the usual housework (contrary to what you read here, I am feral...not domesticated. I can fake it pretty well ). Cleaned the guns and did some gaming, then did dinner and made up some meals for the husband to take on the road. I'm done. It's bedtime.

Well, wide awake since 0230 . Once the brain kicks in, that's it...no point in laying there with stuff ricocheting around in there so I got up, made my lunch, and now enjoying a leisurely cup of coffee. It's 12 degrees out, but this week is supposed to be warm...into the low to mid 30s until the end of the week, then it's back into the freezer for a bit. I don't put much stock in seven day forecasts though...by the end of the week, they sometime change drastically.

I've been up since 2:30 myself. I'll leave for work about 4 am. Work doesn't have me doing anything since I put in my paperwork for disability retirement. I could be a liability and get hurt and injured at work, so they just have me sit around and do nothing, until they figure out what to do with me. I hope something happens soon.

Up later today and having some coffee. Husky is sound asleep but her food is ready, she will get up soon. Going to be a nice day. Saying we might get snow by the end of the week! Not looking forward to that.

They allow employees to go on test flights here. I flew on enough choppers while in the military and the oil field. Plus I know how shoddy some of the work is around here, so I would never get in one of the Black Hawk choppers rebuilt here! lol

Hi Bob,

Just got back from the range. Function testing some ARs after changing some springs and buffers around. No real surprises, everything ran great. The Wilson is ejecting at a hard 4:00, everything else a little better than 3. Now out to the shop to clean and lube.

Sorry I couldn't stop by. As it was I got home about 10pm. But the day before I took my brother out for about 300 rounds of joy.

Now it's back to my regularly scheduled program.

Finally after 2 months I went to the gravel pit. I took the 365 and the shield plus. Put 100 rounds thru each of them without any issues. Actually I shot both of them perfectly. I thought I might be a little rusty but nice big hole dead center with a couple of flyers. Guns are cleaned and ready to go. Might even go again another day this week.

Warmed up a bit this afternoon and just grabbed a gun and headed across the street. may do it again tomorrow too. my bore sighting job was dead on. at 25 yards this thing was punchin one hole. derned if i didn't feel like @KillerFord1977 and @SimonRL . well ok, back to reality. i had this mag in it and it was acting up, looked at the bottom and it said pro mag, well crap didn't even think i even had a glock pro mag. so i put in a real glock mag and bingo. started working.

So after punching holes i thought, wait you stupid arkysaw hillbilly, this has a binary in it. well duh, i looked and danged if it didn't. ok i put it in there. so.. yeah we be kinda lamed brained. so i flipped it over to there and discovered it i could actually control it better letting off the trigger. now this is doing it slowly.

Welp, Pfffttt! heck with that. i started to see what it would fast firing. kinds hard to control trying to hold yer finger in the right spot. but target on right is lettin er rip.
