Finding hotels or VRBOs in Germany and Denmark for the trip I'm taking my dad on in September so he can go back to some of the places he went as an army brat, and sorting the details for the Berlin Marathon.
I'd love to take him back to Tehran to see where my grandpa was stationed during the incident in the 1950s, too, but that's not such a hospitable spot for Americans right now. Hopefully in the future.

got a dental cleaning appointment in a little bit.
due to my diabetes, my health care company (Blue Cross) allows more cleanings than the usual 2 times a year.
so i decided on quarterly...
that way, i get more free trial size toothpaste and a new tooth brush, many times some mouth wash.
i score big now at the dentist..!!!

Did the last bit of carpentry on my daughter's set of cabinets. A little sanding left to do, then to shoot the paint on it, but that's being delayed a few days by humidity. Local weather guys are all spun up by heavy rain and hail and an expected outbreak of tornadoes here on Saturday. Florida weather is nothing if not interesting

i went to my dentist, for a cleaning. the hygenist had to "probe" my gums to check for the last deep cleaning to have started the gums to heal...
she laughed and said a man a few days ago told her not to say "probe"
i said like WTF is the difference?
