Despite headlines suggesting a link between tattoos and the risk of lymphoma, there's no convincing evidence it's true. We'll need significantly more research to say much more than that.

I was just going to just drop a “like”, but didn’t want it to be misconstrued. It’s a like for your attitude (I think very much the same way). Sorry for your diagnoses.I won't have to worry about tattoo's since I don't have any, but all those construction years in refineries and chemical plants already gave me Multiple Meyloma Cancer without a cure, plus old guy prostate cancer and my bad sunburn habits as a young guy.
We all have our crosses to bear and this is mine, but I had a pretty good life, so when my number is up it is what it is...
Right now I would lump it in a long line of unproven pet theories and one off studies that pop up every year or so. Like the heating and cooling water bottles and hair dye that were the rage for a time, but as of yet, are still unproven.
I think it all stems from the all mighty dollar. These "researchers" wanting to get grants, donations, and funding. Government wanting an excuse to cease more control via regulations and of course, licensing fees and fines. The medical and pharmaceutical branch wanting to sell more drugs. Or, some ulterior motivate from someone or corporation that stands to gain something by scare people away from or to something else for monetary gains.Everytime they announce a new “connection “ I always sort of wonder with all the processed foods, dyes and everything else most are exposed (even if your one tat try’s to minimize there’s still some that gets through to you)
How is that okay a role if any. I’m sure there might be something there as well so many variables it could be hard to pinpoint
No kidding. You may remember I mentioned awhile back that people who get the shingles vaccine are 20% less likely to develop dementia. Turns out that’s because shingles can destroy tissue in your brain. It has nothing to do with the vaccine. They should have said people who get shingles are more likely to get dementia. Seems like this was presented as a study to encourage people to get the vaccine. And they wonder why no one believes them.Right now I would lump it in a long line of unproven pet theories and one off studies that pop up every year or so.
