SAI to manufacture and sell the M1 Carbine now?

I just got the Memorial Day discount email, and this was their cover photo for the sale....
I already have an M1A Scout which I love, but this M1 Carbine looks awesome... I so need this too, but I don't see it listed yet, and can't find anything about it anywhere... Anyone know anything about this??

Are you sure it’s not the M1 Carbine BB gun SA did a couple years ago?

But a Garand and M1 Carbine for around 1,000 would be a good thing

seems everyone is pointing out that it's a BB gun... sure got me interested though thinking it was a real Carbine. That's a really nice BB gun, way cooler than my Crosman pump-action one I had as a kid back in the late 60's lol.

If SA wants to compete with Auto-Ordnance (a division of Kahr Arms), the only commercial manufacturer of the M1 carbine currently producing new ones, then they'd have to go for it.

Considering that USGI parts are drying up very fast they'd have go with one of their Turkish manufacturers for SA to put their name on it and produce one at a competitive price, like others in the product line.

Inland makes current production M1 Carbines

The Thompson/Auto Ordnance Kahr (or whoever owns them) are hit and miss on QC

I remember in the early 80’s there were several new manufactured M1 Carbines as well as all the surplus ones around. So much interest you could also see Ruger Blackhawks in 30 Carbine as companion guns. I have a old Guns and Ammo article with a Carbine to revolver comparison

They probably won’t. It’s just not what the current market trend wants.
Should it sell? Maybe. I’d buy one. They would modernize it to 357 Magnum🤔

A 357 or any rimmed cartridge (more pronounced tjan a 22 rimfire) would be problematic in a semi auto design

So those are better off in a lever action

That said, with new manufactured M1 Garands in CMP they mentioned other models so I’d presume the 1903 and M1 Carbines will be 2 of them time will tell .

I can dream😊

I’d love to get my hands on a quality new production Carbine. I’ve seen mixed reviews on the new Inland’s and Auto Ordnance models. The Fulton guns are excellent, but dang $2600 for a “service grade” is stiff…
I price we pay for a piece of functional military history is ridiculous😡

I do love the carbine. Light and handy, close to 5.56 energy at 200 with weight and recoil that’s better than a 9mm carbine. I see the big push toward “PDW” and I think, we HAD a great PDW 8 decades ago, lighter, more nimble and more powerful than any 5.7😏

Yea, I forgot the Inland's, and would go with one of them vs. an AO.

That company doesn't advertise much like the others, and they make probably the closest-to-correct WW2 1911A1 replica, but at a premium price.
