War That Trump started? Where have you been for the past 46 years? Have you not seen the thousands of rockets raining on Israel? The thousands of U.S. troops killed and maimed with IRGC devices? The murder and mayhem by their proxies throughout the region? Would you like for the crazy mullahs to have nukes that they can drop on our bases and homeland? Iran is a toothless tiger and is going to self destruct from the insid, and Israel is not done with them.
 
It is amazing, the amount of Iranian religious zealot regime sympathizers who are okay with terrorism around the world. Iran could have made the choice decades ago to quit arming their proxies to wage war on innocent populations. They (Iran’s zealots) chose non-stop terrorism instead.

Let’s be clear. None of this happens if the Iranian funded terror organization Hamas doesn’t invade Israel and murder 1250 citizens and kidnap 200 more on 10/7. No military action in Gaza or Lebanon and no Israeli attack on Iran. This is Iran’s war.

Crying about gas prices while Trump is in office but not during the Biden years ?

If you think this is going to start WWIII you probably should educate yourself a little more on the political dynamics in the Middle East and regarding the US and China and Russia.

I doubt it even gets into a regional conflict much less a nuclear was. None of the big 5 that can reach here have much skin in that game.

Even the Saudi government calls the Iran regime all but crazy and they should stop trying to get nukes.

This will be Sabre rattling. Iran regime is in a corner so the propaganda machine is working O/T (look at the poorly doctored pic of the F35 they tried to play they shot down) that’s to keep their own people in line and believe they are holding it together

I also noticed there has been nothing from the Hezbolla or Houthi arm don’t even think they have fired one missile for several days now

But we shall see!

What my concern is and it has happened before wouldn’t take a state sponsor. Simply look no father than the damage the OK City bomber did and with easily obtained products.

I won’t get any scenerios but everyone should stay alert!

While I am more Libertarian than not I differ from most that I had zero issue with the Iram strike. So that said a lot of folks beating an impeachment drum might want to look at past events and oh the law!

No problem. Further info on plutonium and uranium is that they are alpha emitters which is a helium nucleus. Very low penetrating; a piece of paper stops these particles. No harm except if one internalizes the material. This is what happened to Alexander Litvinenko, a Russian defector in London who ingested tea which had been poisoned with Polonium 210 which is also an alpha emitter. If internalized then it has immediate effect on your cells and will play hell with your system. He died some three weeks later. When the British Health Service surveyed the restaurant they at first had no readings since every glass and pitcher blocked the radiation.

No, not in this case, not at all. This has been tried unsuccessfully for decades and Iran as usual lied its way out of it, every time, on purpose. If I can be brutally honest, you really don't understand the Arab thinking of the Iranian heads of state (not the Iranian people, they hate it also), which is domination to all who do not conform to their extreme Muslim ideology, and yes, this is absolutely a spiritual/religious war. Iran calls Israel Little Satan and the USA Big Satan. Ignoring that is a huge mistake.

SO, if it was two countries trying to protect their own then your statement makes sense. But when one side for decades has insanely declared that the other country WILL be wiped off the map, then this approach has no bearing. Iran stated in 1979 that it will (and still proclaims that it will) not stop until Israel is eliminated... and also that the United States is eliminated.

Were you alive in 1979? I remember the "Death To..." headlines and the USA and Israeli flags being burned when I was in high school, and it was unnerving, we didn't understand it. Now we do of course. None of that has changed with Iran since. The Shah was the good guy back then before the ideology took over. The regime that overthrew him is still in power. Absolutely Israel and the USA have the right to defend itself... removing Israel's ammo is suicide.

We need to be thanking Israel for starting the process to save the world, and Trump for taking it to the next level to stop a regime of death. Israel and the USA hit the heads of state that are the masterminds, as well as the actual nuclear sites. Iran sends 400+ rockets and hits... hospitals and people's homes. We can't fall asleep at the wheel... Israel did and Oct 7th happened. And before Hamas gets tagged, Iran is the head of the snake, Hamas/Houthies/Hezbollah and all the rest are the proxies.

IIRC, Alpha and Beta particles are bot that bad, relatively speaking. The Gamma, however is the nasty one. For some reason, I was assigned to be the Base NBC Officer at USMCAS Yuma in the 70-71 timeframe. 2 week school at El Toro was a nice vacation, so I learned a lot stuff…mostly forgotten now, unfortunately.

You're correct. Most radiation injuries are due to exposure to gamma radiation (nonparticulate, that is pure energy photons as are X-Rays). It is highly penetrating and exposure is cumulative. That is, if you receive a low dose say of 5 centi- Grays (old units rad) this year and next year you receive another 5, etc.,it all adds up. This why X-Ray techs go behind a wall or into the next room before they take the picture. They don't want their careers cut short. My perception is that there are more MRIs done nowadays instead of X-Rays, but that's an unscientific observation.
