The author recently attended the SIG Sauer Next Event in New Hampshire and got the scoop on the company’s new hardware for 2025.

The new guns included SIG’s first entry into the double-stack 1911 pistol category, a soft recoiling .380, a “Fluxed” P365, modernized P226s, the return of the vaunted 516 rifle, a Cross Sawtooth in 6.5 PRC, an AR-10 platform in the spicy .277 Fury, at least three new suppressors, and a ton of new optics.

I’m looking forward to the 211.
I need to handle one.
It’s playing against a Staccato XC, and I’d like to know how much it lacks OR is on par…for about 1800 less, MSRP pricing, of course.

I’ve shot an XC.. I think it’s the holy grail of 2011s for how it shoots and its price point.
But to be able to get close to that for 1800 less…and have money to upgrade where I see fit… I’m very interested.

The 211 taking 320 mags is amazing, price is $3K, so won't be in everyone's budget. Heard great things about it though. The .380 looks fun, but not for me.

As far as thr cans... the lifetime warranty is awesome. I'd like to see it compared to TBAC. It's limited to 300 PRC even though it's posted 300 WM. The one option is the heat shroud, that makes it interesting

Where are you seeing 3K? Everything I’ve read/seen is $2400 to $2500?
Sig’s Phil Strader in the Classic Firearms video, quoted a MSRP of $2300 & it shipping out in July or August of this year. I’m guessing the ones that are out there being sold have a little bit of price gouging going on.

Welcome to the forum from South Texas.

Classic Firearms, along with Sig's Phil Strader and James Reeves from TFBTV, each select their top 3 Sig firearms announced at the recent Sig Next event. Not surprisingly, the P211 made some of their lists announced with its $2300 MSRP and more interestingly at least to me (since it's the model I ordered), $2700+ with the RXSL optic installed (I was thinking it would come code to the price of my Sig P226 XFive Reserve w/ enclosed Romeo X optic install at $3300)
