i like using a ridge hand strike. where i strike at disrupts blood flow enough to make them melt/fall down. i do this to all the teakwondo peeps that insist on kicking me. i tell them you have a better chance at hitting me than kicking me. a good just below sternum strike is fun also with the heel of the palm

My teacher back in to 50s taught using the palm strike along with the thumb in the armpit. Palm strike to the ear when head turned and palm strike to the lower left t side of the heart. He said fight to end not win. I had my share of bare knuckle and it was $10 if you lost and $25 if you won. No measured rounds no count outs and you couldn't strike when opponit was on the ground. I came home a couple of times with $20.
