They called off our mandatory OT shift, so I slept late...too late apparently because I hurt all over. Presently sitting on my heating pad (for my hip, which hasn't ever bothered me before until today), and drinking my morning caffein.
The winds have switched around to WNW, so we're getting a little bit of smoke haze. It's supposed to get to 81 today, but it's cloudy. I would like to putz around in the garden, but I will have to bathe in DEET first. The mosquitoes have become obnoxious in the last week.

i got so much in chemicals in me from my wrench turning days and trucking days, i ain't sure anything can live inside of me.
i did take that morning nap, only about a 45 minute one...
kissed the old woman g'bye and got my range bag and went to the club...
thing is though, my neighbor was here having coffee and cake with my wife.....
i may have kissed the wrong old lady.

The clouds moves off and it has turned into a beautiful day. I decided on an impulse to go to the little lake here in our town. Lots of green space, a little beach and a dock, a volleyball net, and shade if ya want it.

Fed Maggie her evening meal. It is 100 degrees outside so we won't be doing anything outside. There is another football game tonight so there's that. Will straighten out the 2nd bedroom tomorrow for my distant cousin from Lithuania. He will be flying in to El Paso on Thursday for a couple of days. This is family from my father's side. I have never met any of them. I hope the visit goes well. Since I am the only living family member here in the states he wanted to meet me before my demise.

Fedx and USPS has got to be the worst ever. the other day fedx brought my package in state and then took it back to indiana, now they went from there to Memphis Tenn. and then here and back to poduct junction Texas. Now they don't know when it will be delivered.
The postal service was supposed to deliver my gun to the LGS two days ago, then they said today, now it's they don't know when it will be delivered. its been stuck at a post office 30 miles from me for 3 days.
