To each his own, but buying cars and not driving them breaks my heart. If my toy cars are on a trailer, they are either being stolen or are broken beyond roadside repairs.

I have a good friend that is a constant corrupter, offering to let me shoot numerous firearms that are beyond my means. His English shotguns are my favorites. Almost like them enough to come out of retirement long enough to buy one...almost.

Was lucky enough to be around when Jack Rowe was filming his DVD on gunsmithing English shotguns. The workmanship is beyond compare. Remarkable.

Not English but a sidelock in the Holland n Holland tradition nonetheless. My Aya #2 in 20 ga. with 29” barrels.

Very nice! You bet your Aya that is a reasonable alternative to an English shotguns on a realistic budget. They are very lively with the balance right between the hands...now that I am getting older, I am thinking about trimming down my lifelong collection. I should do that and buy an Aya. Lot less for my wife to have to worry about later. Less is more sometimes!

I got it for myself when I retired. Was fortunate to shoot n hunt with some boys sporting English guns as well as SO’s and Parkers. Had a 687 EELL Diamond Pigeon 2 barrel set that I shot clays with before I sold it . But getting off topic here.
