Ammo update (tested and conclusion)

Well I honestly tried the Freedom munition yesterday through the M&P. I’ll be honest and say it’s interesting but in a good way. The only thing I kinda was worried about getting in trouble with was some of fireballs I had (I kinda wish I had photos of it). Otherwise it was clean, no jams, and my groupings were pretty good. Personally it helped with learning on the optic too.

I dont understand why people try all these cheap ammo makers. Load it yourself and never have to worry about "will it work in my gun?".

Personally I’d do it if I had the space and the time. As is I work 50 hours a week and sometimes 6 days a week. Then throw in a personal life and part of the Marine Corps League. It’s not like I have time at the moment to sit and load up ammo for the next range trip.

Thanks for the feedback! Seems its a runner

Ammo inc. was swallowed up by Winchester. Most of the places I had seen on the Internet that carried it discounted it and blew it out.

I believe it’s the Olin company. I know the CFO cooked the books before it got bought out. Ammo Inc isn’t bad at all and had good luck with it but now something is going on that I can’t explain. It might be me overthinking things.

Hi,

I always buy my .45ACP from Freedom Munitions, formally LAX Ammunition. Been using them for years. I try to catch a sale when they have free shipping or $5 flat rate shipping and stock up. It's good stuff, shoots cleaner than most.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Definitely cleaner than most. It goes off when I press the trigger (not like Winchester Red Box). Personally thank you for the heads up too.

Agree Jsimon78.
I dont have the time or desire. I’ll just buy online. I’d rather cook than reload. When I’m retired, I’ll do both.

I agree that Ammo Inc was and is good ammo. I shot a lot of it, it was clean and much more consistent than other cheap ammo I've bought over the years.
Olin/Winchester, same thing.
