Law enforcement officials announced that a suspect has been arrested in the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk on Wednesday in Utah, according to FBI Director Kash Patel.

“The subject for the horrific shooting today that took the life of Charlie Kirk is now in custody,” Patel wrote on X. “Thank you to the local and state authorities in Utah for your partnership with @fbi. We will provide updates when able.”

Kirk, 31, was speaking at Utah Valley University on Wednesday afternoon when a single shot rang out, appearing to strike the Turning Point USA founder.

The UT Governor just said they have a person of interest in custody that they're interviewing. But not confirmed as the perp yet.

They also said the shot may have come from a roof top.

Being a big Charlie Kirk fan, I've been watching this all afternoon. One thing has struck me so far. At every shooting the first thing we hear is " this is not terrorism" or something to that effect. NOT today. Everyone is saying that it could be a foreign influence. Yes, It could be, but why this line now? Could this be cover for the left that have been stoking the hatred for years? Are we fearful of Maga getting mad and retaliating? Let the tail wag the dog till people calm down?
