Some magazine base plates will contact the magazine well and not aliow the magazine to seat on certain guns. Check the clearance of the magazine base plate, you may just need a diferent base plate
Your only choice, if you can’t get your skill set to that level, is to get a Glock.
Maybe your wish is to carry with an empty chamber, but a full mag. IMHO, not all handguns like this.When I use an 8 round magazine I am not able to close the slide on my TRP. But if I pull the slide back as far as possible, push the magazine in then the gun will load. But If I have 7 rounds in my 8 round magazine, everything loads easily. This is happening with all of my 8 round magazines. Kimber, Springfield, Wilson..
It is almost like the extractor is in the way and stopping the magazine from loading correctly. Also it almost seems like the bullet is pushing the slide so much that it will not close. I am not 100% sure.
Of course when I show my armorer at my gun range - he never has a problem.

Well I don’t know what the official definition of “dissertation” is and how it pertains to what I said but the OP has been told numerous times how to fix it yet hasn’t responded anymore except further describing the problem.It didn't. It came off as fuddery.
