Sheriffs not enforcing open carry bans after Florida after ruling

I as an old guy would never open carry in Florida. I personally would not be comfortable, unless I never took my hand off the gun. I could easily be bum, rushed by a couple of people and relieved of my firearm. I just look at how crowded some of the stores like a Walmart or the beach where there’s a lot of people. I would have to make sure my firearm was secured at all times. I’d be afraid to use a security holster. For one thing, if I needed the gun, I might not be able to get it out and second others might recognize the holster and know what it is. I carry concealed and it’s staying that way. This is just me. Others can do as they please.

ALWAYS CARRY, NEVER TELL.

and that debate never ends..

side 1 says....."open carry is a deterrent"

side 2 says..."concealed carry allows you to surprise the attackers"

in all 50 US states, we should be free to do as WE want, that is of course, if people are LEGAL gun owners.

I do agree that legal gun owners are getting the back seat to bad apples of society. There will always be those bad apples in society like what happened on 9/10.

I would never open carry but that doesn't mean I think it should be illegal.

If you choose to open carry, have at it. I support you 100%.

I do have one caveat. I believe that a business owner has the right to permit or ban open carry on his property. I also believe that if you disregard the rights of the property owner you should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
