So I finally pick her up all the correct markings down to left side grip make made in Germany German made 1979 shot her the other day I think it will remind a safe queen put 50 rds thru her all good but the top thumb bit is something else no thanks it’s a beautiful piece at least I know it works

I'm a long time fan of the Walter PP Series pistols. There's just something about the classics. :love:
I actually prefer the slightly long grip on the PPK/s
Yes, I have carried one from time to time and no, I don't have a problem with hammer or slide bite.

Thanks grayfox this gun wasn’t shot much at all for how old it is . It took 50 rds no problem at all . I think it was somebody back up gun shows a little holster wear very slight . Other than that it’s like brand new

I had a PPK, no s in the 60 that I usually carried on days I was required to do court duty. A judge made me a offer I couldn't refuse.
 
Nice! I always thought the PP series was proportioned just right. I get the PPK, but a long grip and a short slide PPK/s didn't make any sense to me. The grip is the hard part to hide, so short grip and longer slide make sense to me but not the other way around. Nice TPH too...I have always wanted both a TPH and a PP and have yet to fill that chink in my cultural armor. That might put me in "Peasant" class now that I think of it.

The TPH has a kinda odd story. In Europe the TPH in .25acp is a very common gun while the .22 version is scarce. However in the U.S. the .22 version is fairly common, but the .25 version is extremely rare. So rare in fact that a .25 TPH sells for a $1000 or more here. :oops:
Unfortunately, the .22 model is known to be extremely finicky. Mine wouldn't get through a full magazine without jamming. :mad:
I sent it to Mike at M&M Gunsmithing. He was Interarms factory Walther gunsmith for many years. he did his magic and now its 100% reliable. (y)
 
I have heard the TPH was finicky. CCI plated Mini Mags seem to help. They seem to dislike the bulk lead ammo. It has not cooled my desire to own one!
