Deadly Dangers of Gun-Free Zones

I don't know why Sticky is a brand you don't like, but I use something similar for my backup North American .380 Guardian. Grov-Tec makes several sizes for pocket pistols; mine is a #2. It has a non-slip band around the middle, as shown. I am of the strict belief that 2 is 1, and one is none.

Addendum: The Hogue grip you see here was trimmed to fit this mouse gun perfectly; it was the closest fit I could find in the store. Flush-fit hammer, DAO action, the tiny scratches on the polished slide testify to its regular use over the last 25 years.
I don't dislike Sticky as a brand - they're good at what they do. In fact, I love them for nightstand holsters. I've just bought into the IWB life. Casual, dressy, long pants, shorts, my Kydex IWB works; it stays put when I unholster and it's still there when I re-holster and I can do all that with one hand. Still, if there's one thing I've learned in my firearm journey it's, "Do what works for you." I've tried Sticky for EDC and wasn't pleased with my experience and mechanics. But if others find it works great, that's perfect.

While the libertarian in me says "its their property they can do what they want". There is a side of me that says "IF you create a hazard there should be legal recourse to citizens"

So how bout this. If a property or location is a "Gun Free Zone". Fine but if there is a violent felony committed on the property. Any citizen with a CCW carry permit can approach the owner following the resolution of the incident and file a claim. The initial pay out from the insurance company will be 10,000 within one week of the loss. This will have no determination on any future legal proceedings or future damage payments.

So imagine a Mall there is a robbery or shooting or knifing or any violent felony. Afterward anyone on the property who is a conceal carry citizen is able to apply. Now imagine an insurer of a mall getting oh 50 claims following an incident. At a cool half mil. They begin assessing the cost of the policy..and walla natural consequences takes over.
Why do we need to have a permit to carry when we can already carry in the Ozarks!

My next pistol is gonna be S&W's M&P Bodyguard 2.0, because it has a 12-round magazine and is not really much larger than my old North American, which only holds 6 rounds. The extendo mag holds 10 but it's a jam-o-matic that I only use on the range.
S&W has an untarnished reputation for quality, and my first handgun was a Model 19 (My dad's service revolver when he was a Gary Indiana cop). I learned to shoot with it, and it eventually was my own duty revolver. By the time I was working for campus police while taking classes, the big switch eventually happened and the department got Sig P226's. Gary police were using the Ruger P89, and not long after that I went into the military and was introduced to the Beretta 92FS.

You can take it to the bank that if I'm there, it's not a gun-free zone... Peaceful, not harmless!
Personally I went SA HCP for sub compact. 15+1 capacity with the option of 17+1. Honestly it’s barely on my rotation since I got my Glock 23 gen 5. I do have a M&P M2.0 10MM that I usually carry but the holster is getting replaced

The 38 Super begot the 9mm, which begot the 380.
From bad to worse. 38 and 357 mag both out preform 9 let alone 380.
Out Mailman carries a 38 special.
Say a lady have to shoot a dog with a 380, took two rounds to put it down.
That was a 40lb animal.

On but the revolver has so few rounds. LEARN HOW TO SHOOT.
We take turns shooting the 100 yard gong with 347 mags and 44 mags just for practice.

Pray and spray is for those libtards that dont know how to shoot.

You do know there are liberal 2A supporters and shooters, right? Just like there are Republican and even conservative folks that are anti-2A?

"Libtards" does nothing to embrace the entire community of 2A supporters. Political parties are blends of ideologies.
I would say those sort of comments ( which go both ways) are fine and the norm on places like Twitter or other venues. I assume that's why they exist and are popular. For the record, I am not on any other social media besides here and a music related forum I have been a member of for a couple decades. On a forum where it is assumed we are all 2A supporters and anywhere else where the conversation about gun rights is concerned we should all embrace the "Big tent" theory. I have close friends who are liberal. And I have and have had many internet friends who are liberal. I can like anyone who is civil and respect anyone who is sincere regardless of their politics.

You have a much better chance of changing someone's mind about guns and gun rights if you aren't making personal attacks that's for sure.

You will rarely change a persons stance/opinion/philosophy on a subject they are passionate about.
I don’t expect them to try to change me and I don’t try to change them.
Christian - muslim
Anti 2a to 2a
Shrimp or no shrimp
1911 or Plastic wonder

Best be civil and just try to out vote them 🙂
