Video games….do you partake….

I used to play spider solitaire years ago when working offshore as a commercial diver. While on the boat, all I would do in my off time was read paperbacks or play spider solitaire in my rack. Not much to do while spending weeks and months on end stuck on a boat. But I haven't played spider solitaire in years. I don't play any other games.
@OldGrunt spider solitaire is my game of choice. It helps focus by distracting my brain on something else for a bit. (If that makes sense)

Who has time anymore? When I received my Xbox back from repair around 2012, I discovered upon reloading my games that I had spent 526 hours playing Skyrim. I thought about what I could have done instead. Haven’t played since then. But they sure are fun!
Before that I played Defender at the arcade so much I had blisters and knobs on my fingers.
It sounds to me like you weren’t trying hard enough. 😎🙄😇

F.E.A.R. Alma Wade. Currently upgrading my PC. Have the Steam and GOG platforms. Play mostly the older stuff. F.E.A.R., Half Life 2, DOOM1,2 and 3. Journeyman Project, Dragons Lair, Hitman, etc. Some of the newer like Witcher and Batman as well. Also have some of the older Atari games on Atari Game Vault from the Steam platform. I am a serious tinkerer, modder and geek at heart.

Better than any PlayStation or Xbox I’ve ever owned . I spent many an hour around one of these. We had a 8 ft at home and the best cheeseburger joint in town had (4) 6ft quarter tables and a jukebox.
Learning on regular table, you sure could run a rack quick on the quarter tables. 😎
I wish I had the space for one now.
That’s my old man and me.

Grew up on a regulation 9’ Brunswick. Dad was a billiards enthusiast.
I learned to make the cue ball do whatever I wanted it to do.
Haven’t had a table in the home in 20 yrs. Still play occasionally.
Firearms took over and billiards took a back seat.

All my super expensive cues sit in the closet. Replaced by pistols, rifles and thermals

Been gaming as long as there has been PCs.
1988 Earth Orbiter on a Apple Lisa
1990s Mudds, Planetary raiders then...
I got into WWII fighter sims. 15 years worth and then some.
By 2018 Id had enough from sims so I Conan Exiles, a some what mmo, but not really.
The company sucks, and we are always looking for a better one.
