Finished up a load bearing beam net door this morning, then I had to go up to the city and pick up a dining room set my mom bought and set it up for her and remove her old one, then back home and down the street to my daughters to install a slab door on one of the bedrooms. Then up to the diner with the wife for dinner, home, shower and a nice glass of iced tea while watching Pixie and Dixie.
Tomorrow it's more fun next door. This time it's crawling in the attic on my hands and knees ( hip roof that's sagging, primarily because the D bags that used to own the house removed load bearing walls, like the dumbasses they are) and installing a bunch of collar braces. Then I have to strategically remove a piece of drywall off the ceiling out by the exterior wall so I can get up there and fab up a load bearing pedestal across the joists to support the failed support in the middle of the front rafter tail section.
That's how I spend my vacations apparently.
