Is it already milled to accept a red dot ?I have a cz sp01 I want to put a red dot on it what are the steps thanks in advance
Step 1). Send it to Cajun Gun Works.
Step 2) Ask them for the pro package while it’s there getting milled.
Step 3) Thank me later.
Just checked their website. These guys are pretty damn reasonable.Step 1). Send it to Cajun Gun Works.

I have several friends that are CZ fans I hunt with and all have used CGW.Just checked their website. These guys are pretty damn reasonable.
I have a P-07 that I had milled and I installed the pro package myself. It’s a fantastic carry gun. DA/SA with a decocker and a beautiful trigger. @KillerFord1977 bought his daughter a P-09 after she drilled a bullseye out with my P-07 the first time she shot it.Just checked their website. These guys are pretty damn reasonable.
In all seriousness, if you need to get it milled check out Wager Machine Works. They specialize in CZs, are extremely affordable and will get you gun back to you within a week. I used them for my P-07.I have a cz sp01 I want to put a red dot on it what are the steps thanks in advance
I have them both ways and very much prefer the optic directly attached to the slide. If funds allow, buy the gun equipped the way you want it from the get go and keep what you have as an "Iron only" option. If factory warranty is not an issue, CGW does great work from what I hear. I have to say, I would love a low ride direct mounted optic to slide, but all of mine require a plate to slide and optic to plate connection. Good luck on the journey friend, guaranteed to be fun no matter what.

No I think you have to remove the rear site and get a adapter plateIs it already milled to accept a red dot ?
So BB directly attached to slide meaning you don’t use a plate . Sorry I never done this it all newI have them both ways and very much prefer the optic directly attached to the slide.
I used ATEI Engineering to mill two S&W M&P slides cut new dovetails plus suppressor height sights and mount dot optics. Was very pleased with their work plus good customer service.Step 1). Send it to Cajun Gun Works.

Yes. Have the slide milled for whatever optic footprint you’re going to use and then attach it directly to the slide. No need for suppressor height sights to co-witness and no messing around with plates. So BB directly attached to slide meaning you don’t use a plate . Sorry I never done this it all new
Ok I got itYes. Have the slide milled for whatever optic footprint you’re going to use and then attach it directly to the slide. No need for suppressor height sights to co-witness and no messing around with plates.
One other question if I did it this way do I need to do anything to the front site ?Yes. Have the slide milled for whatever optic footprint you’re going to use and then attach it directly to the slide. No need for suppressor height sights to co-witness and no messing around with plates.
