Busy day scheduled today -- do a Publix run, take the truck through the car wash and trim the lantana bush outside the kitchen window since it's scraping against the window screen -- sounds like the AC is tearing up.

First walk in and Walmart run done. Will wait for sun to come up before going walking again, too many loose dogs this morning. Probably last couple of days for shorts. Weather will be getting a little cooler by Friday especially in the early morning.

Coffee, check. Dogs fed, check. Front porch Cats fed, check. Back porch cats fed, check. Horses next, it is really cool out there. Dr appointment later.

A couple days ago I mounted the Holosun on the TRP and zeroed it and it was spot on. Yesterday the posse came out and we ran some steel drills and I was all over the targets. Got back to the house and realized the screws on the optic had backed out and the optic was just flopping around on the mounting plate. I had locktited it and torqued to specs but it wasn't enough. So last night more lock tite and a little more torque. This afternoon I'll try again and see if the problem repeats.

The husband has gone to meetings this morning. Some of the spouses went on an organized excursion, but I've been subjected to so many peopley situations lately that I am perfectly fine with staying in our room for now. Had my coffee, but I may have to venture out in a while for some food. Gonna keep it light though as we are going out for Tomahawk steak tonight at the swanky restaurant in the resort. My sleeping and eating routines have gone off the rails, making me feel like a slug...but my jeans are feeling loose. Go figure

Needed to get some errands done. The husky insisted that she wanted to go with me so what was a 20 minute chore turned into an hour as she had to explore every place I went. Now back at the house and it took 45 minutes to vac out the car of all the hair! Oh well, she's happy and I love her.

Shot the Staccato this morning in anticipation of an annual qualifier course tomorrow. Shooting that gun is like cheating…
Felt somewhat guilty about shooting this morning when I have about 1000 chores I should be doing so I took my battery tree saw out and trimmed an oak in my backyard. Trying to minimize combustible material close to the house this year. Had a big fire come through my town in the spring and burned up about 125 houses. Sobered everyone up about having excess trees and shrubs around the house.

I don’t like to see anyone banned or leave, especially if it’s over something like that, not sure if it was his reason, but it kinda appears like it may have been, I have threatened to leave several times, but I took a break and cooled off, maybe Bob will come back one day.

Yeah I did the same, after a short time realized I really enjoy the forum and should not let one heated disagreement persuade me.
