Make it an investigation fee of $500.00, I got my can last month, they got everything from me but my blood type and a glove up my ***, but really, I don't care, so they know it's me, who cares, I might just have some business cards printed up to leave at each target, I hate it when someone steals my glory!
 
My read is that LE is pressuring to keep restrictions on automatic weapons and out of the hands of thugs. I don't think LE cares about SBR'S or suppressors so much. But elected officials are going to be influenced by LE on the topic. The Supreme Court is going to have a full plate of 2A matters to decide by the end of the year, we'll see where that goes.

In my view the current status of braced pistols compared to SBR's shows little practical difference between the two and that has already been decided by the courts. Likewise suppressors are just an issue of little importance nowadays

Trump could solve gun crime by leaning into legislation that makes using a gun in a crime a federal crime that can't be plea bargained out. Mandatory five years working as farm help on gigantic farms on public lands. The crops grown go to feed the prisoners and excess to SNAP benefit holders. No more ready made junk food for SNAP, just good healthy raw ingredients. No more sitting around lifting weights and learning how to be a better criminal in prison, too busy working the land. Learning a trade at the same time. Perhaps they grow cotton for textile plants for them to work in, making their own clothing and providing excess to SNAP benefit holders.

Now ask me what color the sky is in the world I live in that makes me think this could happen.

IMO a lot of things are in danger and that's why I like the back country and I am a Independent. I could go on but I will continue on as a Independent. The politicians wear there new design of coats, one side red turn it inside out guess what, IT'S blue.

Prisons can produce their own food, but Commercial food producers would object to competition. There is some federal law regarding prisoner produced goods that would need tweaking but you make good points here.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons did away with weights 20 some years ago. A few institurions are grandfathered in and can keep what they have until they are unserviceable. However no new weights are allowed to be purchased. All elliptical and such for cardio health which cuts in the medical bills (I am retired BOP and in 2015 BOP had a 6 bill I’m. Doar budget with 1 billion alone spent on medical most outside service. My place alone spent 15 million at one local hospital we have a secure room for medical needs inmates that are above chronic medical facility classification)

As far as 5 or 10 years The Feds already have the option to slap an enhancement charge. US Attorneys are not shy about using it and gun charges already are a mandatory 129 months aka 10 years (Feds always sentence by months)
