Not keeping up with court cases or current events?
Not seeing anyone that can replicate it reliably without a wood screw, and not seeing it in any holsters that aren't light-bearing, allowing more FOD into the holster. If there were a real problem beyond "something pulled the trigger/I pulled the trigger and don't want to admit it," it would have been replicated by now (with zero trigger pull) given all the attention put on it.

I also understand how the gun works and that the firing pin safety is only pushed up when the trigger is pulled, so it's mechanically impossible.

Youtube vs reality? Youtube loses every time.

Springfield went through this with the XD, Glock went through it, now it's SIG's turn..

There is proof where the OEM for the part said that MIM will need finishing and that tolerance stacking is at fault. Glock Leg was idiots hooking their finger with a Serpa Holster, and never heard of the XD having issues. There is actual evidence and Sig fanboys bury their heads in the sand. The wood screw was a poor example of the many cases that went to court. There are videos of police bumping holsters and bang!

Source? I haven't seen any part manufacturer make that statement, and even if there were that issue for the sear engagement (which could be true), it wouldn't disengage the firing pin safety - that requires a trigger pull.

The XD, like the P320, is a "fully cocked" design that's had its share of ND's in the long ago.

What actual evidence that leads to a repeatable discharge of a P320 without any trigger pull can you point to? I'd love to see it.

No point in arguing with a Sig death cultist, but here you go: https://bearingarms.com/tomknighton...stol-following-uncommanded-discharge-n1229215

I know you’ve seen evidence, but choose to ignore it. By the way, I liked Sig before and the P200 series are all masterpieces.

I've read that report. It doesn't say what people think.

Also: Show me one - just one - person who's been able to recreate any failure without a trigger pull.

One.

All this attention on this "problem," there must be one, right?

Ladies and gentleman of the jury, I rest my case, that man is insane and therefore cannot be held accountable for his actions!

There’s also videos of police with so much room between the trigger and holster, I could put a couple fingers in there.

A ND and a self discharge are not the same thing. The XD has never been accused of going off by itself. Don’t lump it in with the p320. If you’re referring to the issue the XDs had after it was released, well that is a totally different pistol than the XD and as soon as SA learned of the issue they recalled it and engineered a fix.

Doesn’t have to be repeatable. It only has to happen to .000001% of the p320 and be as rare as hens teeth to completely wreck the public’s faith in the platform. If it was a cordless drill or a lawn trimmer that was malfunctioning on this level no one would care, but it’s not a garden tool, it’s a pistol. THE pistol chosen by our military no less.

Of course it has to be repeatable. Otherwise, it's a Youtube problem, not a real problem.
