XDm elite bug

Well I have been bitten by the XDm bug. I was at my local Rural King gossiping about life events and how to deal with them when someone I knew came walking into the conversation. After a little bit I mentioned on how like the XDm elite competition I got off of gunbroker. Well to make this a short story into a reader’s digest story. I’m getting a XDm elite full size in 9MM come Monday. I’ll have to push back on wanting the 10MM for the new year.

I just fondled a XDs 45 auto at the gun shop. was used. looked new. would have bought it but only had one mag and no box. didn't care about the box. but store owner couldn't find mags for it so i left it. was a beautiful gun, had a SS slide

Those must be the 4.5" models. I have the 2 5.25" models in 40s&w and 10mm. Both have been flawless

It’s the 4.5” model. Normally I just pass but I know who it’s coming from and knowing SA doesn’t make it besides California compliant. I can’t resist

I'm sure it'll be 100% reliable if it's like the rest of the xdm line!

I was offered the .45 version but black slide and turned it down do to funds.

I'd like to get a 45acp version as I'm liking that cartridge more and more! My 1st impression ('86) of it wasn't good, but that changed 10 years ago

I'm looking for the 10mm xdm-elite in the 5.25", hard to come by. To bad they didn't revisit the 5.25" versions and update them with a optic ready slide.
