What are you doing right now??

Back from the range. Finished up breaking in the Shield X--no problems at all, not one issue. Also took the Beretta APX A1 carry just to shoot it. Not as smooth as the Shield or any other gun I own but it did function. Thats ok because it's a stash gun anyway. Both are cleaned and ready for the next time. Think i'll have lunch then maybe a nap. Nice day but cool.

I'm just sitting in my apartment trying to stay warm. Had a high of 32 degrees today and right now it is 25 and feels like 18.
i know..huh..??

when i was younger (maybe you as well), i could take the cold...

nowadays, the wife and i wear sweaters (her) and i wear a hoodie....its costly to turn on the heat here in New England.

i think it was said, that we have the country's highest utility rates, plus thanks to that "green deal ****", we get hit with fee's the state tacks onto our energy bills.

Someone pour @Old_Me a cup of coffee.
i don't know you, never heard of you, never knew you joined here.

already now, i am liking you.......

insert Snickers, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, and Hershey's candy bars into the slot on the side of your 'puter...

and i will like you more.

i just now, (before reading your comment) made 4 cups of fresh coffee, and ate a bran muffin.....

i will be a "regular person"..........later today............

A repeat job....a forged 4140 coupling for a large piece of mining equipment. I used a can of spray paint for scale

Hi,

waiting on my video VA doctor appointment.. :ROFLMAO:
had to make sure i looked neat and tidy:ROFLMAO:
I see my VA Doc by video, ya know why I prefer this option- I don’t worry about a rubber glove, let that sink in.

Either way, you don't have to wear pants!

My gig went well this morning, sang a bunch of Christmas songs. The residents had a good time singing along.

Now I'm also waiting for it to snow, we're expecting just a little more to go on top of the 12" this past weekend. It's a good thing my training class is indoors.

After shoveling snow all weekend, I told my doctor that my knees were stiff, my back was creaking, my elbows were popping. I asked if he could give me something. He gave me a prescription for WD-40.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

You would faint if I told you how much my gas bill is a month here. I pay the same amount all year long. This is why I stay here in this god awful state.

wife and i are on the gas company "budget plan", meaning we too pay the same for all 12 months..

otherwise, we'd be living in "subsidized housing" if we had to pay a full bill each month.

when we had oil heat.? our monthly bill could easily be $800 per month

old house, drafty windows, no insulation are the main reasons.

and owning a 3 family house, the costs to renovate would kill people like us that are on SS and a pension.

but i suspect still, your bill is lower than my bill....monthly

$33.00 per month but my house is only 1600 sq ft.
