The Grayl filters are good to 65 gal. which will keep you going for a long time before a switch out is needed.
The backwoods out in my area has banjoplayers around. Also the state parks have city folk around trying to get away from Chicago. So I’m good.

Back then there was actually non polluted streams.You did a wee in the woods with a 1 qt canteen? How did you resupply on water?
