What are you doing right now??

Hey gang,

I'm glad @belladonna is getting back into the swing of things, @NMEDGE is taking care of Maggie, @rcurtner has sharp knives, @Belt Fed enjoyed his movie, and hoping @powerboatr will heal up quickly.

Mrs. BassCliff has a bad cold so we stayed home from church today and watched it online. Now I'm just doing laundry and hanging out with you lot. It's a lovely 27° here but will get into the 40s later this week. There will be no White Christmas for us this year. Drat. Holiday blessings to all. 🎄🎅

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

My last day off from the FL stretch. I only have to work Monday and Tuesday, then I have 5 days off for Christmas. Today is the first day since December 5th that is MINE…with no one needing anything from me 😁. It’s a beautiful sunny day with a temp of 11 degrees with a **she whispers** a calm south wind. Supposed to hit a whopping high of 20 today.

I do have to leave the house unfortunately, as there is no bread in the house. Ah well, it won’t hurt me to assimilate back into the town population, lol. Just going to poke around the house and make sure I have everything ready to commute in the morning. Nothing to see here ;).
And you're gonna need shoes!

Up waaaay too early. Wide awake at 1AM, laid around for an hour then decided screw it. Guess I’ll sleep tonight. Anyway, I’m about to brew a second cup, catching up with On Patrol Live and scrolling through here. Happy Monday, I suppose..
Those were the kind of wake-up hours I had when I was still working. And I sure don't miss them! I thought it would take forever for me to revert back to normal hours in retirement, but it didn't take long. Unless I have an early appointment for something, I usually get up around 6 am thereabouts. I think I will always get up before the sun comes up, as I do enjoy watching that. And once it gets light out, I let the pups out. They tend to bark a lot when I first let them out and they make their first morning patrol. I don't want to have them disturb the neighbors with barking before sun rise. I enjoy the peace with a cup of coffee and then enjoy watching the dogs when I first let them out.
