What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Got it zeroed and ran about 100 rounds through. It's a shooter! Sorry, no photos of targets today, they were all sold in advance....
i've thinking about the cmmg in 45 and 10, but wish they were made like the 9 and 5.7 as they use ar15 converted mags. does the 45 you have use the radial delayed blowback? i haven't shot the 9 i have yet, but the 5.7 is smooth as butter.

Yes it is radial delayed. Pretty cool how it works. Shooting 230 grain ball there is very little recoil. Very accurate little gun. I am an adherent to .45 for my 1911's so this follows.

what buffer system does it use..........carbine or pistol buffer and do you know the weight of the buffers? i haven't been able to find that info on cmmg's site
I don't know the numbers, just that it works. The buffer feels less than an AR rifle buffer. Here is their tech data

Pistol, BANSHEE, FE, MkG, .45 ACP, 8" | CMMG - AR 15 and AR 10 Builds and Parts https://share.google/x5dpTfJnX6hb5rw66

buffer specs looks to be and h1. so it's using a carbine buffer instead of a pistol buffer. still the h1 is way lighter than a straight blowback buffer by 3-5 ozs.

Available at my LGS/range . Not a purchase but currently under heavy consideration. Has to have l

ess than 100 rounds through the pipe and spotless inside and out. Pros are obviouse, only con, not optic ready. Thoughts?

That while I could buy it debt free I could use that money and buy the 2026 handgun (a GP100 $845 OTD that I cheated and bought last week) and the 2026 long gun, not yet finalized but a few final contenders in the $1000 or so range and a really nice optic for the long gun, and starting ammo, dies, bullets for both, and anything else needed for those and have the other 1/3 left for oooh, got to have that finds through the year.

Not necessarily firearm related, but my wife did get me a new EDC knife for Christmas! It's an Ocaso Strategy and very nice. I love that woman!

The knife features a 3.5” clip point blade made from Bohler K110 (D2) steel for outstanding edge retention and toughness. Some models come with an aluminum grip, but I believe this one is G-10. The action, built around stainless steel caged bearings is the proverbial "smooth as butta."

Hi,

First off, howdy!
Let's make it 3 hours ago.
Just scored an East German Ernst Theilman Makarov made in 1960. MINTY! Probably a 95% pistol.
I've always regretted selling the Chinese Makarov I purchased back in the early 90's. Couldn't resist this one.
Cheers!

Vintage! Cool! We like pictures. ;)

Welcome to the forum from the Wild Wild Upper Midwest.

Thank you for your indulgence,

Might order a couple of these

I will have to get a couple of H3 buffers to make it work.
