Yes, the UH-60 isn't going away any time soon. I just recently retired as a civilian federal employee aircraft mechanic working on UH-60s. I've helped re-build and re-hab UH-60s over 30 years old.UH-60's are still being bought & built for the US military in improved models so the use of the term "aging" by the author is a bit disingenuous.
And the UH-60 will be in service for decades because it will do certain jobs better than the new MV-75 which will be a bit overkill in certain tasks.
The Osprey has put in a TON of work doin stuff no helo could do especially in Afghanistan. The took what they learned and made this. I full y support this airframe.
