The left's argument about high capacity magazine ban stopping mass killings is DOA.

It’s the principal of the thing. Despite domes thoughts you aren’t as out gunned as one thinks with a 6,8 or 10 shot auto as there are tons of cases where a good guy win with a revolver, 1911 or a 10 shot

It also shouldn’t be the governments decision to tell you you can carry a 17 shot micro 9 or whatever either!

The problem as most know the anti side doesn't want to stop with tevokvers they want to legislate any legal option for anyone to use deadly force to defend the self. Whether they restrict guns or restrict your actions you can use that’s what the end game is.

Living in one of those states that like telling us snowflakes what the magazine limit is “bites”. My current purchase had to have the magazine altered to make it 15 (20 round freedom stick). Thankfully I know how to travel out of state (I don’t promote adoption out of state) where it’s perfectly legal.

You say that like you almost think they care. They know damn good and well that magazine bans do not stop mass killings. They also know gun free zones don't stop mass killings.

They're not trying to stop "Mass Killers".

They're trying, and they've done a damn good job of it so far, to disarm US

More like making it harder for law abiding citizens to defend themselves as criminals see doors open up. Yes Illinois is run by these yahoo’s but us rural folks dislike them

Australia has come up with new ideas in the debate post Bondi beach shooting.

From the article: “ The gun reforms which passed through the New South Wales state legislature on Christmas Eve include capping individual gun ownership at four and reclassifying high-risk weapons like pump-action firearms.

The legislation also tightens licensing by reducing permit terms to two years, restricting ownership to Australian citizens, and removing the review pathway for license denials.

Gun reform alone will not solve hatred or extremism, but we can’t fail to act on restricting access to weapons which could lead to further violence against our citizens, Minns said earlier in the week when introducing the proposed law.”

We should keep an eye on our Aussie friends.

We have GOT to stop using their illegitimate term, "high capacity magazines" ever, in any conversation. Every time any one of you says that it legitimizes it a little more. They are standard capacity magazines and 10 rounders are restricted (infringed) capacity magazines. Don't help them in their cause by using their illegitimate terminology!!!!!

I do agree. Whenever I want to use that saying I use “freedom magazine’s”. Yes in Illinois it’s 15 and Chicago is 10.

Just refer to them as OEM magazines.

No. I'll use what they are, standard capacity. That most directly contradicts the left calling them high capacity. Calling them OEM still leaves their door wide open to say yes, they are "high capacity OEM" and nothing I just said contradicts them with plain OEM BS.

I don’t refer anything as “high capacity” even though I live in a state that loves to think we need it but doesn’t limit how many magazines we have. I could have 100 15 round magazines and every thing is fine but as soon as I get a 16 round magazine they have a heart attack. I wish I could explain more of been an Illinois resident.
