Of all the 1911 "MILSPEC clones produced, IMO, this one comes closest to MILSPEC as any I've seen. I think it's loverly!
Made in the USA. It reminds me more of the real thing which was issued to me during active duty. Yes. I'm older than freshwater.
Great reviews on this one. I'd like the real deal, but the prices are crazy high for a very good example. $1,300. Isn't bad for a new, well-made 1911 these days.
Does anyone own this model?

Looks pretty good. But you can get the real thing from CMP for the same price.
True, but that is definitely better quality controlled. Also, the fact they don’t sell in the shop within their own state is incredibly annoying… I’d have gotten one if so, but the reason they were retired was wear and I can’t even see one before I’d buy it.
 
Or you can get this from the CMP, Tisas version 1911 A1
