What are you doing right now??

Critters and me fed. It's cold out there and getting colder. Went to the vault to fondle and wipe down some guns. The farrier is coming at 1pm to trim horses. If I had heat in the shop I would be in the shop, but I don't have heat in there so I will be underfoot with Mrs Greener in the house today.. I will have to venture outdoors to bring in more firewood. They are saying we might even get some snow! WTF, I live in Florida!! Bella and Basscliff, your weather is down here causing trouble again!

Oh my! Ya know, as a kid in Louisiana we once got snowed on. It was amazing, almost 4 inches. It lasted only a few hours but we had our fun. It lasts a bit longer up here. It looks like we'll get snow all night and most of tomorrow, but not a huge storm...this time.

well, i got the "reprieve" from the govnah, to not go out today..

with a windchill of about 14 degree's, i am staying inside all day today.

hell, we don't need food,.............. that's what crumbs swept up are for

we don't need toilet paper.......that's what our hands are for

we don't need shower soap.......that's what Ajax dish soap is for..

and we certainly do not need to mail checks to pay the bills.........that's what bankruptcy is for.....
 
Well, I had plans today being it is my day off. However, Mother Nature had OTHER plans so now I'll just hit the local grocery store for a rotisserie chicken (I can dress one of those up real good 😉 😎). It's currently 8 degrees and it's gonna hover there for the better part of the day. That's not so bad except that the wind is out of the north at 25 miles per hour so it feels like -14 😒. It's supposed to start snowing around 2 but we probably won't notice it much because it's ground blizzarding pretty good out there already. We have a cold snap that's gonna sit on us for the better part of a week.

So it looks like I may do what I was going to do in Fargo on Monday. I really wanted to hit the range today but visibility sucks so it isn't worth the risk. Sam's Club can wait too. I'll just hang out here and entertain myself catching up on threads. Happy Friday everyone

laugh but not laugh
mom has been ill all week with some sort of stomach thing
i kept telling her to go to the doctor, she is 83 and stubborn
so last night when i left her house next door, i told here today if she was not well, she was going, even if i had to carry her to the car.
great she agreed
so last night i took a muscle pill to help let my shoulder relax etc.
around 1:50 am , mrs boatr flips on the lights yellign at me there is a strange looking person at the door and she is not opening it until she got me up
so i FALL out of bed, struggle to see and get the broke foot boot on ( time dammmmit time a minute easy)
meanwhile i hear my phone ringing and ringing and ringing
i cant seem to see enough to asnwer
so i open the cameras and see a FLASHY light thing next door ....looking like an ambulance

as i get to the door i figure out it was ems driver.. she looked like she had a gun, apparently mom could not get to the door, glad the didnt breach it

any way i get moms key and off my wife goes as i am still trying to get clothes on the correct way

they ended up takign mom to er in next town to figure out why she was blacking out, falling down and loosing stuff from lower regions

off they go
i trail by an hour, i have to eat and take meds and WAKE UP...
so i get to er and its packed with DYING FLU people and i choose to wait back in the truck
moms ok, a little brain bleed from smacking her head and one more ct in the morning and i can go pick her up

i will grab a screen shot
ems girl looked like a suspicious people
911 must have called my phone a dozen times, but my phone was out in living room...so it hmmmm went unanswered
i guess now i must leave it by my bed..

so its been an interesting day so far
BUT NO SNOW so i am happy
