My father served in WWII in the 58th Armored Field Artillery Battalion. First in north Afrika, followed by Sicily, Italy, Omaha Beach (D-Day), and Battle of the Bulge. All featuring the M7 Priest (or perhaps later). I have tried and tried to get a better impression of the role of this armored item. I have watched many movies of this war effort, but I have not seen ANY that included them--they only show tanks and perhaps fixed (towed) artillery. Why aren't they EVER included them in the cast?
