More Changes on the Way at ATF?

I would like to see the Supreme Court rule that every regulation enacted by an Executive branch or agency must be voted on in Congress before becoming law.
Separation of powers.

Considering Congress can't even complete the mandated budget process by the end of September each year, absolutely nothing will get done.

While Congress is mandated to get paid, to encourage production they should only get paid quarterly based on making progress to complete the fiscal year responsibilities. That being said they should only get the same DC-rate per diem & housing allowances that Fed employees get when in town, until they (Congress) are on track, each quarter, to complete work by the end of the FY. So, they get 1/4 pay when meeting defined achievements each quarter x 4 of their pay only when that happens.

If they can't get the work done by the end of the FY, then each day over they lose a day of pay for the last 1/4.

Agreed…been 15 years since I was doing investigations there, but without careful planning the per diem allowed me to stay in a Travel Lodge. Never saw any DC higherups staying there!!

Until actual term limits are enacted (maybe 6 years House, 8 years Senate?), Congress will remain dysfunctional in most every endeavor.

Most of them worry more about making a lifetime career living off the taxpayers than about what they were actually initially voted in to accomplish.

Never happen in my lifetime, I don’t think.

The last paragraph of the article after questioning what exactly is going on with ATF is:

Editor’s Note: President Trump and Republicans across the country are doing everything they can to protect our Second Amendment rights and right to self-defense.

I have two thoughts:
1) Is he, really? Or is he doing just enough to keep the 2A community at bay?
2) It sounds like Bearingarms.com is trying to cover it’s own butt in case their article sounded too much like criticism - which it did.
