What are you doing right now??

After spending most of the day at the doctor's office, I am now in the hospital. After a cat scan was finally done, they found blood clots in both lungs. Looks like I will be stuck here for a few days. They say I was very lucky it was caught in time. I just thought my lungs were hurting because I might have the flu or covid. I really hate hospitals.
yes, good thing this was caught quickly...best of luck, you'll be out and about to harrass us old timers soon enough.

come to think of it............

STAY THERE.....!!!!!!!!!!!

its QUIET HERE.............!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning,

Looks like we got two or three inches of snow last night and expecting a little more later.

I'm having a cuppa then I'm going to have my fun shoveling the driveway before going to the range.

I heard the plow go by at least once so I should be able to make it to the closer range today. Old Glory looks good on her new flagpole.

Now let me get my shovel going, get cleaned up, and see if I can put together a decent range report for you later. Blessings to all.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

oh oh oh
ortho doctor freed me today from my air cast
must continue bone stimulation treatment for at least 90 days
must wear firm and supportive shoes and in yard, high top work boots i can lace snug and with a stiff sole
no long term ladder standing, no ladders if not wearing the boots
bone splintering is finally making the slurry tentacles to bond

had the sneaker on now for a few hours...feels very very weird after 3 months
mom only bothered me 2x before i got up today... things are looking UP (y)

Went to the urologist today, had to see a different one as my usual female one didn't have an opening for a while and when i called i was hurting. now it eased up last night and i have no pain today. i don't know where it went but i haven't passed it or don't think i have.

first they take a scan and then an ultra sound, and let me tell you the lady that done that was very pretty. so she's rubbin this warm lubricated thing all on my sides and lower front for the bladder....ok enough of that

Now i go to the room for the DR to tell me what he sees, in walks this dude, he sticks his hand out to shake mine and he just touches mine, i hate a fishy handshake. if'n yer gonna shake my hand, grab it and squeeze a bit. started to break his pansy little hand but ya know, this guy could mess me up. lol

Then he spoke, my god. this dude is queer as a 3 dollar bill. He was NOT checkin my prostate no matter what. but anyway i got around the gay part and started to ask him if he owns any Kimbers, but let him slide. But this guy musta been new, he didn't know anything and couldn't tell me anything about them ultra sound and scans i just took.

Anyway they want me back in two weeks to do it again. guess they don't know where the stone went either. but after the ultra sound lady and the no pronoun dude, i can't wait for dirty movie time.

Funny as all get out, but also a serious condition to deal with. Hope it works out, LOL.

Wow, somebody was watching over you sir, you take care of yourself, glad it was caught early, prayers sent my friend!

Well, I was scared a few times but I didn’t die (there were a few times tho…). When @HayesGreener asked if the snow would “impede” my drive home…I really didn’t think it would do much but kick up a little wind. Let’s just say my life flashed before my eyes a couple of times on the commute home. From the time I left the Fargo/Moorhead metro area until I got to my exit, I literally rode the rumble strips because nobody could see the road. Most of us were doing maybe 40mph, sometimes a lot less. I think I’m getting a little too old to be doing this. 😳

Just finished dinner. Leftovers and three shots of tequila. I think I’m starting to relax now. 😎

Glad you made it home without incident did sound a bit scary.
