I am getting ready to take my new Hellion on her maiden voyage tomorrow or Thursday (probably Thursday, likely lots of black ice tomorrow). I’ve taken it apart and cleaned off what I thought might have been remnants of packing grease (and everything that didn’t look like it belonged), and I’ve lubricated according to manual.
The manual did not seem to indicate as many spots as I thought might need to be lubricated (bearing in mind last time I cleaned a rifle (M16) was circa 1995 or so
, and that was military standards).
Might someone be so kind as to give me some ideas of how they lubricate their Hellion to prevent as much wear as possible, along with maximum functionality.
Be kind - first rifle in long, long time.
