Eating some fruit salad and saw my numbskull idiot neighbor down the street get stuck in his Honda trying to get out of his driveway. He probably burned off 2000 miles from his front tires. I thought about getting my truck out (mommy has the Jeep), but then thought, nah, he's a big boy, it will give him a sense of accomplishment when he gets it out. Sure enough he succeeded. Now, I feel better since it was the thought that counts.

My frozen Tundra was providing shelter for a bunch of little birds as the freezing rain fell earlier this week.
This! We had maybe 3 1/2” of snow BUT it transformed with freezing rains to Solid Ice. I was out with the tractor today trying to open up the 1/4 mile driveway so we could get out. The weight of the tractor wouldn’t bust the IceI discovered today that my little 2" of fine, powder snow has turned into 2" of solid ice.
Oh well, I wasn't going anywhere anyway.
. I spent about 3 hours out there so far and “think” I could get the truck out now. I used the bucket on the tractor, tilting the edge down and lifting the front tires off the ground to break the stupid ice. Some fun…. Oh yea, the street in front of the house has been plowed and scraped and is clear-but the USPS hasn’t made an appearance since Friday…
