Will probably settle between $1k-$1.1k. There are cheaper but heavier steel frame models for those who don't want to spend the money, or they can just stick to the cheap dime a dozen striker fired pistols. A 24 oz 7 shot .357 or 5 shot .44 SPL with night sights is going to cost. The exotic medal and maching isn't as cheap as an injection molded plastic frame that's made several at one time within a a minute or two. 1911s and other metal framed semiautos aren't exactly inexpensive either, but CZ, Beretta, and 1911s seem to still be selling well. Even several polymer HK handguns are still moving around the same price point.Yeah but still $1,169 if lucky.
With how many Colt Pythons, S&W Carry Comps, L-Comps, and model 340's (DP) have been selling, I don't think S&W will have a problem selling their new no lock revolvers. They're getting in their own way because their QC on their revolvers is the worst in class even below modern Taurus.
