I have been liking Muddy River because of the extreme amount of options they have for their holsters. You can practically make them any way you want.

Avoid Urban Carry Holsters.
They were supposed to send a hyperion holster for wml and optic equipped Echelon 5.28 with threaded barrel. Long story short i contact them to correct their issues and sent the correct holster that is optic capable. Long story short they take holster return and refund with a bunch of punishment charges then bill me for extra charges and up the price of my holster they send for replacement and additional shipping is added as well as the extra insurance I put on because they sent me an order missing another holster. Even though I paid them insurance they do nothing about the missing holster. Also they did not pay me for 5 of the holsters I sent back because they said I was slow to return as they give 30 days max. The delay was waiting for the missing holster and failure on them sending the promised shipping label. They still have my funds and I'm still without a safe holster as their optic holster is not really an optic holster. With their Urban Carry Holsters the trigger guard is dangerously exposed. Also their Urban Carry holster is so loose the gun i ordered them for falls out and clatters to the ground. Dangerous.
Emails from them promise to escalate the process and get me to someone who knows something. Richard from @urbancarryholsters is the manager they promised would call me and correct. That never happened. Really nice they recently disconnected their phone lines.
Meanwhile they have several hundred of my $$ they are not returning. I saved every correspondence. Thinking it is time to talk about this with my atty. Perhaps the BBB?
AT THE very least the consumer product safely commission. Guns falling out of holsters and clattering on the concrete because the leather Urban Carry holster is too loose seems pretty darn dangerous. Not to mention the exposed trigger due to their fitting issues.
They've had months to refund me. Sadly I ordered Urban Carry Holsters for several of my guns as I wanted to go all leather. I love leather but what if the Urban Carry Holsters Hyperion dumps my gun and a negligent discharge occurs with an innocent child getting killed due to Urban Carry Holsters negligence and their refusal to fix all these issues. I have many many emails back and forth telling them of the fitment issues. The lack of trigger coverage and the optic cutout issues.
Their help with fixing the issue of the loose holster retention is laughable. Many emails from Urban Carry Holsters tell me to rub and work the leather with saddle soap or leather conditioner then place my sidearm inside the thin plastic/nylon bag the holster came in and insert the holster over night and that will size the leather for my holster. I've done that to stretch leather but never to shrink. Well i tried that. Guess what. Seems even looser.
Does this crap sound right ?
I've since seen on the net many similar complaints. And also the interesting U Tube videos discussions regarding the poor customer service from Urban Carry Holsters that appears to be common.
