I'll start with the belt. It's about .200"+ thick and stiff right now. The test of time will tell!

It is harder for sure meandering that way? I have done the same thing for paddle or not type. I see a holster and browse/scan for guns that I have.

Well to see a certain type of holster/gun
combo one way but not another is a poorly designed website.
