After bouncing around for almost a year and a half trying to find what I think is the best place to go. It felt nice to go back to the same old stall on a Sunday morning to make a run at it.

I decided to bring my XDm9, CZ P10C, the CZ P09C nocturne. I was supposed to meet someone at the range but I was running a little late but I didn’t get a text or anything. I was ghosted but kinda thought about it and it was the best thing. I did bring extra stuff for a 2nd person.

After I set up I just let a year and a half of joy go to town with my XDm-9.

Yes I got one shot to the junk but just have to do a little better rapid firing.

Years ago I was seeing a gal and for one of our first dates she agreed to meet me at my gym. She never showed up. It was then I realized we weren't going to work out.

I love those big raggedy holes in targets. That's a nice looking range. Do the black tiles on the ceiling hide all the bullet holes? Both of my indoor ranges are kind of a mess. I didn't do it. ;)

Your therapy looks to have been very...therapeutic. Nice work. Is that a 5" barrel?

I think one of the holes up there is from me dusting with a .308. Personally I left because it was disappointing to go too. Things have changed since I went back so far. It’s quiet and almost creepy after dealing with the other ranges.

The XDm-9 is the 4.25” barrel. I honestly wanted to do a few rapid fires with it since the other places I went to wouldn’t allow it.
 
One of my ZEN techniques is designing the guns as in starting with the basic gun and picking sights, grips, handguards ect. Understand I dont do any of the assembly more complicated then grip screws. My thing is the conceptual design. Back before the Tactical Lever Gun craze from the major manufacturers, I assembled the parts (Handguard, stock, large lever, sights etc), then dumped the parts off with the gunsmith and said BUILD IT. When it was done, he had shortened and threaded the barrel, shortened the mag tube, drilled for the new sights, made a new barrel band and assembled it all. The ZEN for me was the design way before any of the BIG GUYS and I think better than what they still put out
