How long for service

Sent two guns back yesterday for warranty work. Impressed how quick Springfield got back to me, sent me the shipping label etc etc. So the shipping label says 4-6 weeks for the turn around time. Anyone have ideas how accurate that is? Hoping it'll be less than that. Or does 4-6 weeks sound right from others experience?

Which guns did you send back and for what, this would determine how long, especially if it’s a major issue

I just wanted to welcome you to the forum. I'm a nobody, just a Springfield fanboy. But there are some real wizzards here from whom I've learned a lot. Thanks for joining us. I'm sure the mother ship will take good care of you. Please keep us informed.

Thank you for your indulgence,

SA has some of the best customer service in the industry. But it also depends on what you need.
I sent a 1911 in for repair and got it back in 8 days.
I also sent a M1A in for the national match upgrade. As I recall, that took a couple of months.
For your problem, I'd think one to two weeks. ;)

Several years ago I had to send my XDs .45 in for repair. The safety blade in the trigger broke and locked the trigger up. I contacted them , they sent shipping label , and I sent it in . A week and a half later it was at my door all fixed and ready to go bang again.

I have no complaints with their service.
